Green Relic: Increases Hieronymus's Incoming Damage by 55% until the end of battle. Effect can stack up to 5 times.
Ominous Light (Relic)

When the Purple Relic's HP reaches 0%, increases the ATK of all Striker and Special students by 25% but decreases their Recovery Boost by 7,000. Also decreases Hieronymus's DEF by 1,500.
Following this, students inflicted with Curse will have their Recovery Boost increased by a further 4,000 for 10s.
The Purple Relic cannot be targeted by normal attacks or basic skills.

Mechanics

To start off, if you plan on doing Insane, it is important to note that Hieronymus deals Explosive damage in Insane. This highly discourages you from bringing Light armored students to this raid since they are prone to dying. However, this does not mean that you are not able to bring Light armored students to this raid; if you have enough healing to sustain your team and heal the Green Relic, it is possible to use them.

Another important change is Hieronymus can now be groggied. This happens after dealing 5m HP as damage. This is an important change as it can potentially cancel the Curse that he periodically uses.

In addition to this, the Red Relic has been removed and the wipe mechanic now brings the HP of your entire team to 1 and applies a 10-second invincibility buff. During this 10-second window, the entire team gains a 2000 (20%) Recovery Boost to help you heal them. If you fail to heal a student, they will most likely be defeated.

Another change made is the Curse will now apply a 3000 (30%) Recovery Boost to the Cursed target. If the Purple Relic has already been destroyed, the Recovery Boost is increased by 4000 (40%). Overall, this leads to your healers doing the usual amount of healing they would output on the Cursed student.

Lastly, there will now be a Purple Relic, which can be destroyed during any phase. This Relic cannot be destroyed with Auto Attacks forcing you to use an EX Skill. When destroyed, it grants all students a 25% ATK buff and reduces Hieronymus’ DEF by 1500. However, this also reduces the healing all students receive by 70%, making it difficult to sustain your team. Note that the Recovery Boost debuff does not affect how quickly you are able to heal the Green Relic.

Generally, if you plan on team throwing, you will want to destroy the Purple Relic early with your stronger teams that are able to output enough healing. Destroying the Relic on a weaker team that is unable to sustain itself will usually lead to an early team wipe.

General Mindset

Hieronymus is a straightforward raid which mainly tests how well you are able to build your team. The main flow of this raid consists of healing the Green Relic while it does not have the debuff or even with a debuff if you can brute force it. While keeping an eye out for the Curse to remove the debuff and managing your team’s health.

For players who are new to this raid here are some pointers to guide you through the raid.

  • At the beginning of the fight, you will want to fully heal the Green Relic right away. This makes it so that the Recovery Boost debuff timer starts as soon as possible.
  •  (Optional) Right after healing the Green Relic, you can destroy the Purple Relic to reduce Hieronymus’ DEF and gain an ATK buff for the team. ONLY DO THIS IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH HEALING TO SUSTAIN YOUR TEAM.
  • For weaker teams and newer players, we recommend destroying the Purple Relic right after the Curse at around 1:20 to 55 seconds left (this can be somewhat random depending on if/when you transition to phase 2). As you will most likely have maximum Green Relic stacks around that time, and the final Curse isn't something you should be worried about as the fight is about to end. Except for a few cases, such as the Curse being applied on to your DPS or a unit near your DPS.
  • It is important to heal the Curse effect on the affected student since it can deal significant damage to your damage dealers. Listed below are rough estimates for Curse timings.

(Note that these estimates include some leeway to give you prep enough skill points)

  1. First Curse 3:07 - 2:55
  2. Second Curse 2:08 - 2:02
  3. Third Curse 1:25 - 0:54
  4. Fourth Curse 0:30 - 0:20

Strats

Hieronymus’ Curse has a unique interaction with shields; if a student has full HP and has a shield applied onto them, the Curse will be cleansed immediately
