Overview
After the dead week and Binah raid, we now have the return of the “New Year’s Rhapsody No.68 event”. This event features 2 new students with rate-up banners NY.Kayoko and NY.Haruka, along with 3 returning students NY.Aru, NY.Mutsuki, and NY.Serika. More details about their kit can be found in their respective overviews, which will be released soon.
This event is extremely similar to its original run, featuring the same event currencies + shops, gacha box mechanics, and drawing Omikuji. Unlike the original run of this event, items that are available in the shops have changed mainly to make space for the 2 new artifacts, namely the Okiku Doll, which is used to raise NY.Haruka’s skills and Atlantis Medal for NY.Kayoko.

Shops, Gacha Box, and Omikuji
Unlike previous events that usually have 3 event shops, this event only has 2 but instead features a gacha box and Omikuji. This event mainly has Gehanne related materials such as Blue-rays, Tech Notes, and two new artifacts, Okiku Dolls and Atlantis Medal. In addition to this, there are also Kayoko, Aru, and Mutuski Elephs available.
Peroro Kagami Mochi

For the Peroro Kagami Mochi shop, you’ll want to prioritize clearing out the Gehenna Blu-rays, as this event features several Gehenna students. We then recommend clearing out the artifacts available in the shop, namely Voynich manuscripts and Okuku Dolls, which are especially important if you want to raise NY.Haruka’s skills. Finally, buy out the Activity reports if you need them or want to stock up.

Kurokame Gang Ema

Similar to the Peroro Kagami Mochi shop, you’ll want to prioritize the Gehenna related materials first, namely the Tech Notes. Then, you can clear out the artifacts available in the shop Totem Poles and Atlantis Medals, which are used to raise NY.Kayoko’s skill levels. After securing the artifacts and Tech Notes, we highly recommend also picking up the Enhancement stones, as T8 gear has now been released for global.

New Year’s Lucky Pouch
For our third event currency, we have the New Year’s Lucky Pouch, which is used to roll the gacha box to earn items. The gacha box contains a lot of items that players will want to look out for, mainly Omikuji Tokens, which can be used to draw the Omikuji for Eligma and Aru Elephs.
Other items that can be obtained which are worth noting are the new artifacts (Okiku Dolls and Atlantis Medal), Kayoko Elephs, which can be obtained on boxes 2/4/6/8, and Mutsuki Elephs for boxes 1/3/5/7. After clearing out box 8, boxes will permanently have Omikuji Tokens and Mutsuki Elephs available, making this a good way for newer players to farm for Mutsuki and Aru Elephs.
