With the “Sweet Secrets Shootouts” rerun event coming to an end, we are once again greeted with 3 rerun banners, S.Azusa, S.Mashiro, and S.Hifumi. In this article, we will briefly go over S.Azusa use case and if she is worth pulling for.
Overview
Azusa (Swimsuit) is a Limited 3* Mystic Striker student who has primarily found usage as a Single-Target damage dealer with additional utility built into her skill set. Since she is a Limited student, you are unable to get spooked by her in off-rate banners after her current rate-up banner ends.
Due to S.Azusa’s diverse skill set, she can be brought into a team to fulfill roles. As a Single-Target damage dealer, she still deals respectable damage, while having a DoT effect on EX Skill which can be helpful for some JFD stages. Lastly, her Sub Skill has a chance to apply a DEF debuff, which can help with the team’s overall damage or in raids with high DEF like Binah.

First and foremost, if Azusa is your favorite student, then don't let this guide stop you from pulling her. As at the end of the day it is your game and account.
When considering whether or not you should pull for S.Azusa, it is important to know what your roster lacks. If you do not have Wakamo and lack a strong Mystic damage dealer, then S.Azusa can be a great pick-up. It is also important to keep in mind that S.Azusa does not work well with some hyper carry buffers, such as Ako, since DoT effects cannot Crit.
