With "D.U Shiratori City Restoration Project” coming to a close, we are greeted with 2 surprise banners unique to global: Shiroko (Cycling) and Azusa. In this article, we will briefly go over whether Azusa is worth pulling for or saving for another banner.
Overview
Azusa is a Permanent 3* Explosive student who has mainly been used as a Single-Target damage dealer. She is also a farmable student via the Tactical Assault/Raid shop, allowing all players to max her out to Unique Equipment level 50.

Azusa’s skill set has mainly been designed around Hieronymus and has become a staple in that raid. During her release, she was mainly used as a main damage dealer due to her high Single-Target damage. While there may be better alternatives for the main damage dealer nowadays, she is still able to find a slot in teams as a support for her DEF debuff. However, If she is your only option available, Azusa is still completely capable of 1 team clearing Hieronymus Insane as the team’s main DPS.
A more in-depth review of Azusa can be found on her character page. However, it is not up to date with our current format and needs revision.
Now that we know what Azusa provides to the team, is she worth pulling for?
First and foremost, if Azusa is your favorite student, then don't let us stop you from pulling her. As at the end of the day, it is your game and account.
No, while Azusa is a strong Single-Target damage dealer for any Explosive content, she is, at the end of the day, a farmable student. Her Elephs are available in the Tactical Assault shop, which makes her accessible to all players and, with enough time, fully raise her to Unique Equipment 50. In addition to this, her banner is expected to be right before the New Year's event rerun, which features several strong students such as NY.Kayoko and NY.Mutsuki, who is Limited.
