Continuing the constant stream of event reruns and the addition of event recaps, we now have “An Unconcealed Heart” along with 4 rate-up banners, namely Tsukuyo, Iroha, and Kaede being rerun students and Kaho for our new student. In this article, we will briefly go over whether or not Kaho is worth pulling for.
Overview
Kaho is a Permanent 3* Striker student who is your usual run-of-the-mill Mystic Single-Target damage dealer. Similar to most generic DPS students, Kaho highly appreciates the boost at Unique Equipment 40 for the additional ATK buff on her Enhanced+.

As a Mystic Single-Target damage dealer, Kaho performs well but struggles to keep up with the top choices, such as Aris (Maid) and Izuna. In addition to this, there is an initial start-up time of 50 seconds in order to activate her Basic Skill’s effect Serenity, and since Serenity is directly tied to her Sub Skill, this makes it a dead skill until it is activated. However, if you are lacking a Mystic student, then Kaho can be a decent replacement.

Now that we know what Kaho provides to the team, is she worth pulling for? First and foremost, if Kaho is your favorite student, then don't let this guide stop you from pulling her. As at the end of the day it is your game and account.
In general, No. In most cases, players will have access to better and farmable alternatives such as Izuna and Haruna via Hard Stages. If you are willing to wait for a few weeks, then a strong Single-Target Mystic student Aris (Maid) will be having a banner in the near future, making her a more appealing option. However, if you are in desperate need of a Single-Target Mystic damage dealer, then Kaho can be a decent pick-up as she performs decently in general content and some raids.
