With the “Alabaster Calling Card” event coming to a close, we are once again greeted to a rerun event with 3 student banners namely, Natsu and Kazusa alongside a new student Reisa. In this article, we will briefly go over Kazusa’s use case and whether she is worth pulling for.
Overview
Kazusa is a 3* Permanent Piercing Student who used to be the premiere choice for a Single-Target damage dealer in Heavy armored content and raids. Her entire kit is about stacking as many ATK buffs as possible (Max of 5 stacks) to deal high amounts of damage with her EX Skill and Auto Attacks.

Before Mika’s release, Kazusa was your go-to damage dealer for any Heavy armored raids due to her high damage output. However, for you to reach Kazusa’s high damage ceiling, it requires you to properly time your EX Skill to ensure it aligns with her Basic Skill activation. As for general content, Kazusa can be brought onto a team if you need Single-Target damage to clear out bosses.
A more In-depth review about Kazusa can be found here.
Now that we know what Kazusa provides to the team, is she worth pulling for?
First and foremost, if Kazusa is your favorite student, then don't let this guide stop you from pulling her. As at the end of the day it is your game and account.
For players that have or can borrow Mika, No. As a Piercing Single-Target damage dealer, Mika made Insane Heavy armored raids a cakewalk. So if you have Mika and do not plan to do Torment, then we recommend saving your Pyroxenes. However, if you do plan to clear Torment, then you can consider picking up Kazusa for your extra teams.
