Should you pull for Toki (Bunny)?

As the “An Unconcealed Heart” rerun event comes to a close, we are introduced to a new event and 2 new student rate-up banners namely, Aris (Maid) and Toki (Bunny). Including an additional welfare character thrown into the mix with Yuzu (Maid). In this article, we will briefly go over Toki (Bunny)'s use case and whether she is worth pulling for.

Overview

Toki (Bunny) is a Permanent 3* Explosive Striker student who can be used in a few different ways. Most commonly, she is used either as a Single-Target damage dealer with her EX Skill having a relatively strong damage multiplier at a low cost and as a Crit DMG RES debuffer with her Basic Skill. Similar to most other damage dealers, Toki (Bunny) highly benefits from Unique Equipment levels for the additional increase in damage.

B.Toki’s Crit DMG RES debuff on her Basic Skill is somewhat similar to S.Izuna, but a key difference is with its uptime. While S.Izuna can have a permanent uptime with her debuff triggering after 6 Auto Attacks, B.Toki is on a 40-second activation timer and only lasts for 30 seconds which means there will be downtime. Another use case is for her high hit-count on EX Skill. This allows her to find usage in Kaiten Torment which requires 15 hits to break the shield.

A more In-depth review about Toki (Bunny) will be available soon.

Should you pull on this banner?

Now that we know what Toki provides to the team, is she worth pulling for? First and foremost, if Toki is your favorite student, then don't let this guide stop you from pulling her. As at the end of the day it is your game and account.

For newer players that are just starting out, No. While B.Toki does provide strong utility with her Crit DMG RES debuff, along with respectable Single-Target damage at a low cost. Those niches are unfortunately not required or needed to help a new player progress through the general content. However, for players who want to be competitive in Kaiten Torment. Toki (Bunny) is a core pick-up, as her EX Skill is one of the few skills that can break the 15-hit shield on phase 2. A few notable alternatives are Nagisa and Hina (Swimsuit).

  1. Yeah these articles are awesome. Sadly, neither B. Toki, nor M. Arisu seem worth it for me, but they are superbly cute. I’m saving pulls for everything coming next year, especially S. Ui and S. Hanako.

Also just spent money on the 3* guaranteed ticket and got Mashiro… -_- FML
